Create your own MP3 files
How do you Create 5MB, 40 Minute, MP3 Audio File and How do you Create Normal Audio CD From MP3?
Requirements: Personal computer, sound recording device (tape
recorder with microphone or MiniDisc recorder with microphone), [Free] MusicMatch Jukebox, audio connecting cable with a 6 mm Jack plug at each end.
Record the whole of your event, you can edit out any crap
afterwards. Connect the audio cable to the ear phones socket or line
out socket on your tape recorder or MiniDisc recorder, plug the other
end of the audio cable into the microphone or line in socket on your PC
sound card.
Start the MusicMatch application. Click on the options menu,
settings, recorder tab. At the bottom you will see an MP3 CBR options,
click on that to select it. Reduce the kbps to 16kbps. Change the
recording source, a bit below the MP3 CBR option, to correlate with the
place you plugged the audio cable in to the sound card ie line in or
microphone. (Optional) click on the "tracks directory" settings at the
top right-hand corner of the window and tell the programme where you
would like the newly recorded sound file to be saved. Save these
changes by pressing ok.
Press record from the MusicMatch application. A new window should
open up just underneath. Click on "edit tracking before beginning" and
give the audio file the name you would like it to be saved as ie "the
history of bed pans".
Press play on your tape recorder or MiniDisc player. Check the sound
from your tape recorder or MiniDisc player is coming through the
speakers on your PC at the correct level. If there is no sound first
bring up your operating systems volume control window. Check that you
can see in this window the microphone and/or the line in controls. (If
not go to the options menu, click on properties, and highlight the line
in and/or microphone options in the "show the following volume
controls" section. Click on ok.) Check the microphone or line in in it
is not muted. Try adjusting volume setting of the microphone and line
in. If still no sound check the audio cable. There most definitely
should be sound by this point, if not you have a more deep-rooted
problem than I can deal with here.
Rewind and press play on your tape recorder or MiniDisc player, then press record on the record window of your MusicMatch application. (It may be worthwhile doing a test 30 second recording first to make sure all your settings are correct).
How do you Create Normal Audio CD From MP3?
Simply load the MP3 files you want to put onto an audio CD into the MusicMatch
application. Make sure that the time length of the talks/MP3 files does
not exceed the 80minutes or so space you have on the CD. Then
click the burn button in the middle at the bottom of the window that
displays the files that are about to be played. The next windows are
pretty self explanatory.
